David, I found that neither my phone or iPad would connect. I had not tried for months. I assumed it was always working.
I went to the App Store and searched “Innovv” then found the app was offering an update. That fixed both devices for connection, but now my 128 GB SD card is found “in error”.
Popped in a new 16gb card and it was then showing as “card removed”. Would not format.
I reset settings in the app.
The card then would format, and it is now recording as normal.
I have not yet followed the bad 128gb card to see if a pc will read it.
Have you been to the App Store for the update?

Hi!
Did your iphone take an update recently, what version is the iPhone at now? Have you installed the iOS 26 beta by chance?
Did you change any settings just before the WiFi connection first failed?
Do you have another phone or iPad you can try?
Does the phone connect normally to all other WiFi networks and show the WiFi symbol?
I’m trying to think of what changed in your phone to cause the failure.
Best regards,
Bob

I believe the SD card has a maximum of 256gb. Can you try a smaller card?

I think I use my finger nail for that extra push. Let us know if this works.

You must use a computer to download the new software onto an SD card.
The K7 connects to your phone using the wifi, and there is no way to connect it to the internet at the same time.
Hope this helps.

Use the app to format the SD card inside the K7.
Any other attempt may fail and you would be back asking why your choice did not work.
It is best you put the new card inside, then use the app to format it.

I can only add a question on checking connections. Did you use a voltmeter to assure power is available? Or did you just look at the physical connections? A break hidden by the insulation would cause your symptoms exactly. Perhaps a wire got stretched?

The K7 always uses red and black for powering the device. The yellow is simply seen by the K7 as just a signal the bike is running. No power on the yellow is used to operate. When you turn off the bike, the yellow wire goes dead so the K7 knows it is in parked mode. It then continues to use power on the red and black for the G sensor and when cameras are turned on by a jolt. If the voltage falls below a certain voltage it turns off totally. I believe it cuts all power when voltage drops to 12.5.
I hope this helps.

Normally, your phone expects every WiFi connection to have access to the Internet. Most WiFi access points can reach the internet.
The K7 is using a WiFi access point only to send imagery to your phone. There is no need for the internet of course.
In other words, ignore the “no internet” message.
A lot of smart devices and cameras use WiFi connections for setup and the “no internet” message is common.

The K7 uses WiFi to connect, not Bluetooth.
Once you connect, use Settings to change the duration. Keep in mind a five minute clip is quite large and takes a while to download.

Google Translated
Failed app connection
The cell phone does not connect to the K7 control unit even with Bluetooth active. As a result, I no longer see the recorded videos on my phone.
Also, how can I set the recording to 5 minute videos instead of 1 minute

Mount the camera so that the Innovv text in white is at the top in the 12 o’clock position.
Recordings will be oriented correctly.
I just connected to mine and tested that live video is shown even if the SD card is removed.
Do you know how to do a screen capture from within the app so I can see exactly what is showing?
Press the side button and the volume up button simultaneously, the capture will go to your Photos.
If you can post that capture here maybe we can figure it out.
Have you tried a power rest on the K7? Remove the black and yellow wires from the battery and Accessory, count to 15, connect them back again. This may clear any intermittent firmware bug. Just one of the things I usually try.
Also, power reset your iPhone. Power it off. Then power it back up again. It could have an intermittent bug as well, iOS 18 is quite new if you have installed that already.
I am on beta 3 of iOS 18.2, so you are likely on 18.1
I am out of ideas if that fails.
You made certain WiFi was connected to the K7, right? Sometimes 5he iPhone will jump back to your house WiFi while you think it’s connected to the K7. I always check Settings – WiFi frequently.

I used a 128GB card with no issues.
My guess is this is an old suggestion, but I will put the question on my list.

Beautiful!
Maybe we need to start a photo contest!
Ontario, last weekend, that is me on a friend’s Moto Guzzi RT1200 as I followed MY Goldwing on a ride to Creemore as captured by the K7.
I had to reduce it below 2MB if course.
I will ask Hans of the photo limit should be raised a bit for obvious reasons. We want them to look the best!

I am an idiot. Or, lets call it a “learning experience”
2 things….. I put the cd card in my pocket to go to the garage to install it in the K7 2 days ago. Today, it was still in my pocket…. dohhhh! I rode all day with no warning it was not recording.
Then, for demos I have 3 devices powered on, and it seems that when I connect wifi to say the RC6… the K7 wifi bumps it off.
So, if I 1) Install an SD card and 2) turn off the devices I am not communicating with… it works.
But that mess did reveal a few language issues on some of the messages.
If the SD card is missing, the same message as no wifi is issued. So an empty slot looks like a wifi issue.
I will let Rock know.
Thanks for pitching in though!
Bob
