Hi Darren,
Did you change any settings in your phone in the meantime?
iPhones sometimes have problems making a (good) wifi connection with Innovv cameras. The advice is to put the iPhone in airplane mode and then manually make a wifi connection with the Innovv camera.
The link you added does not work properly. I only end up on the homepage of Imgur, not with your photo.
You can also add a photo directly to your topic, click on the camera icon. Your photo may not be larger than 5Mb. -
Hi Jeff,
Thanks for sharing the footage. This looks quite different from the surroundings here in the Netherlands. Every country has its own landscapes/roads to enjoy.
I hope you like the K7. -

If you turn on the Speed Display, does this setting sometimes disappear?
I would like to know if the new firmware has solved the problem. -
Hi Darren,
Your iPhone may not be able to play MP4s.
Can you install the VLC media player app and check if you can play the videos on your phone with this app. If you have a virus scanner installed on your iPhone, can you disable it and see if you can play the videos?
You can download the videos on your iPhone, but you do not have access to the cameras files or settings via the phones app? How did you download the videos on your phone? -

Where did you connect the yellow wire? Can you check the positive connector?
Did you connect the red and black wires directly to your battery or are you using a Hex EzCan or similar device that you connected your K7 power to? -
Hi David,
The sensitivity of the parking mode cannot be set. The G-sensor setting in the app only affects the sensitivity of the accident videos.
The g-sensor is only sensitive to short hard taps. Pushing against the engine is a ‘slow’ movement that the sensor will not or poorly respond to.
My experience with the g-sensor is also that it is not equally sensitive in all directions. So it is a matter of trying out what the best place for the dvr is. -
Hi David,
The microphone is waterproof.
I mounted the microphone on one of the handlebars myself.
This way the microphone is more protected against rain and wind noise.
The clip is meant to attach the microphone to your jacket so that you can record your own commentary when using an open helmet. -
Hi Twan,
Thanks for the feedback and good to hear that the problem has been solved.
Maybe the SD card got corrupted and started to give problems. After all, an SD card is just a kind of piece of technology that can also break down.
Enjoy your K5. -
Hi Doron,
This wobble effect is caused by your camera vibrating.
If you mount the camera in a place that does not vibrate, the problem will be solved. Also use the rubber rings in the mounting to dampen vibrations.
Also do not place your camera on a fairing part that can vibrate.
And make sure that the cable of the camera is not too tight. A (too) tight cable can also transmit vibrations. -
Hi Fabio,
Under my profile I have described how I did my installation on the BMW K1600GT. In this I have described where I picked up the switched power supply. Maybe this can help you too.If you connect the yellow wire to your license plate lighting, this will not cause any interference on your CANbus system. A thunderbox or something similar could be possible, but I regularly hear that this can cause interference if the Thunderbox (or something similar) is not connected/configured properly.
I would not use a switch, you will just see that you forget it one day and that you have missed the best video.
A power bank could be possible, if it can supply at least 2Ah.

Hi Bob,
Thanks for the feedback and the pictures.
Have fun with your K6. -
Hi Bob,
I don’t know what the lower limit is for how many volts the yellow wire needs. I thought around 6V, but with 12V you are sure to be fine. The yellow wire needs very little current (amps) to start the K6.
If the red power wire can get 3A, the K6 has enough current to work fine -
Hi Fabio,
Thanks for the feedback and the detailed explanation.
Have fun with your K6 and we will see the pictures of the installation here. You will certainly be able to help other users with this. -
Hi Fabio,
For the newer BMW models, there is often a separate power cable for sale to supply a navigation system with power. This is a cable that contains a ground, constant plus and a switched power supply. The connection for this cable should be somewhere near the dashboard. But your BMW dealer will be able to tell you best.
If you connect the yellow wire correctly, you do not have to worry about interference. The yellow wire does not consume any power. The best way to connect it is by soldering.
I have no experience with the Thunderbox, but does the TB also need a switched power supply (trigger connection) to make it switch? If so, you can also use this trigger connection for your K6.
It appears that updating works best with a small SD card. I have not yet tested whether updating also works with a 256GB card. I do not have time for this yet due to a move. But if you succeed, I would like to hear about it. Disconnecting the battery should not cause any problems. If you have an alarm on your motorcycle, it may go off. Disable the alarm first. You may need to reset the time/date.
Good luck with your installation of the K6. If you have installed it, show us some pictures.
