Hello Steven,
The rapid flashing may indicate a defective SD card. This may cause the K5 to always revert to factory settings. Try formatting the SD card from the app.
The fact that the power converter is flashing blue may indicate that the battery voltage is too low. Try booting the K5 with the power converter disconnected and the K5 connected to a USB power bank.
Another option is to download the firmware again, perhaps something went wrong during the installation of the firmware. Make sure that if you update, you do so with a good SD card.

The camera is not damaged? You can possibly swap the front and rear cameras to see if the problem is in the DVR or in the camera. But if there is moisture in the front camera, it seems that it is really defective. You shouldn’t get any moisture on the inside of the camera, they are waterproof IP67.
For a warranty claim you should contact the seller of your K3. -
Hi Neil,
What do you see/not see on your phone/Innovv app? Is the app unable to connect or cannot start? Maybe you can add a screenshot.
Which Innovv app have you installed?
Do you have a virus scanner on your iPhone that blocks the app?
Does the blue LED on the remote light up continuously or does it flash?
Can you put your iPhone in airplane mode and manually establish a WiFi connection?
Do you have the option to test with an Android phone?
What have you already tried? -
This is challenging problem.
The time that the K5 switches off is correct, it needs approximately 25 seconds to properly end the video recording. So you have connected the yellow wire to a contact switched connection, this is as it should be.
Can you see in the app which firmware you are running, does this match the firmware you have installed? Maybe something went wrong with installing the new firmware.
I can send you an older firmware version to see if the same problem occurs. This is to rule out whether the problem is due to the firmware. Let me know if you are interested in this.
Before installation I would like to give the tip not to lay the wiring close to the horn. The horn can cause problems due to the strong magnetic field. -
Hi Trikkytrev,
During the recording, does the bike stand still or do you drive it? When you drive, does the K5 sometimes cut out briefly? If so, then probably a bad contact in the power supply. Can you measure your supply voltage when the engine is running? Does the blue LED on the power supply of the K5 light (when the bike is off and when the bike is on)? Does the battery voltage drop a lot when you start the bike?
Does the K5 reset when you operate something on the bike? For example, the horn or lighting? Check the videos to see when the reset takes place.
The app has no influence on the K5 if the app is not used. The app only reads the K5 and writes adjusted settings back to the K5.
Could it be that you are not using the right app? The correct app is the one with the red logo. -
Hi Trikkytrev,
The settings are not saved in the app. The app only reads the setting from the K5.
Could it be that the button on the remote is pressed for too long? If this is pressed for too long, the K5 will be reset to factory settings.
Does the K5 immediately return to default, or after a longer period of time? Perhaps you can use the videos you made to determine when the K5 returns to default. For example, it could also be due to a nutritional problem. The more information you can find out, the better we can look for the cause, -

Hi Richard,
Innovv only connects via WiFi, not via Bluetooth.
A free video editing program with many options is Kdenlive, see https://kdenlive.org/
With the K6 you can play with the recording volume. Unfortunately you cannot place a dead cat against the wind noise. So it takes some experimenting yourself.Have fun with your K6.

Hi Lee,
This is a very short request for help.
Can you give us more information? Without more information, we remain guessing as to what the problem could be. If you expect help from us, we expect some effort from you as well.
More information may include:
– which brand/model of phone are you trying to connect to?
– what do the LEDs on the K3 indicate (solid, flashing, off?)
– Has the K3 had a WiFi connection before?
– what have you already tried to solve this problem?
– what more information can you provide? -

A .TS file can still be played if it has not been closed properly. This is not possible with an .MP4 file. Maybe if you record in .TS you can find out when the file becomes corrupt. For example, it may be that the power supply is not connected properly and is briefly interrupted when there is a bump in the road. With .MP4 you get a corrupt file.

Can you provide more information?
What brand/model phone are you trying to watch the videos with.
The videos that are corrupt are those that were recorded last when the K5 is turned off?
Can you view the corrupt files on a computer if you insert the SD card into the computer?
What happens if you set the recording time not to 10 minutes but to a shorter time?
Can you attach some corrupt files? I’m curious if I can play this.

Aren’t the recordings not in the protected folder?
If this is the case, the G-sensor is set too sensitive.
