Hi Jeff,
Thanks for the detailed installation description. Other R1250RT riders will be able to make good use of this.
Regarding the annoying buzzer, my experience is that you don’t hear it at all while riding due to the wind noise around your helmet. I also wear ear protection. Even when I am standing still, I don’t hear it. On my bike, the main unit is tucked away under my seat (K1600GT).
Did you aim the radar higher? Because in the photo I see that it is pointing quite a bit downwards. I aimed it almost straight back and this works very well. See also my photos under my profile page. -
Hi Tim,
It is possible that the K7 firmware experienced a hiccup. To be safe, you can reinstall the firmware. Also, reformat the SD card after the firmware reinstall.
Set the loop recording duration to 3 minutes. Do this last step to rule out the possibility that the 1-minute setting caused the error. -
Hi,
The STL files can be opened in Fusion. I was unable to open the SKP files in Fusion, although Google states that it is possible. Perhaps it didn’t work because I am using Free Fusion. -
Hi PFM,
Thanks for sharing your creative efforts.
It is also great that you are willing to share the 3D files.
Perhaps other Innovv users will get creative ideas and want to share them here. -
Hi Jeff,
On my unit, there was a very thin plastic protective film on the radar unit. This could be easily pulled off. This film was only on the radar itself, so the square part. I suspect yours still has it on. In the photo, it looks like there is a bit of air under the protective film in the top left. -
Hi Robert,
Keep us posted. Thorough and systematic troubleshooting sometimes takes some time, but it can certainly pay off. -
Hi Robert,
I am curious to hear the further outcome.
It is possible that the SD card is the cause of the problem.
The 2-second blinking may be due to the G-sensor being set too sensitively. This results in unintended protected videos. -
Hi Charles,
I am curious about the solution. If it works, let me know.
We, as other forum members, can learn from this as well. -
Hi Jean François,
The green and blue LEDs have stopped flashing, but are they not lit at all anymore, or are they lit continuously?
It can take longer for the GPS to get a GPS fix for the first time after an update. Ensure the GPS has a clear line of sight to the satellites and give it some more time while you are not riding the motorcycle.

Hi Charles,
Is the touchscreen not damaged at the switch location?
Perhaps you could test this spot on the touchscreen with a different setting/function on the N2? -
Hi Aaron,
It could be the power module, but you will only find that out if you replace it.
However, after reading back your findings and what you have tested, I am leaning more towards a problem with the K7.In principle, a lithium-ion battery should not be a problem. The type of battery does not matter. What is important is the voltage and power that can be delivered. But even with a lightweight BMW battery, that shouldn’t be a problem.
You may be able to claim a new K7 under warranty. Should the same problem occur with this new K7, it is clear that the malfunction is being caused by your motorcycle, and you will have to look for a solution there.

Hi Alison,
Thanks for the feedback.
It’s good that you managed to get it working. So, placing the sensor on the tyre during pairing might be the correct sequence.
Enjoy your N2 -
Hi Aaron,
So it looks like one of the cameras is defective.
If you swap both cameras one by one, front and back, and you can be certain that one of the cameras is defective, you might be able to claim it under warranty if the warranty period has not yet expired. -

I sent you a PM with info. -
Hi Robert,
It is possible that if you have inserted the SD card into your computer once, it can no longer be processed correctly by the K7. Sometimes, changes may occur in the file management settings, resulting in the existing files being handled differently. Therefore, my advice is that if the SD card has been read in a computer, you should reformat it using the Innovv app when placing it back into the Innovv camera. This ensures that the file configuration is set up correctly for the Innovv camera.
If loop duration is set, the oldest recording should be overwritten to make room for the newest recording. If loop duration is not set, recording stops when the SD card is full. In that case, no old recordings will be overwritten.
