    Hi Glen,
The loop function means that recordings are made of the set duration and that when the SD card is full, the oldest recording is overwritten. This is according to the principle of first-in-first-out.
To properly perform a factory reset, it is best to perform a firmware update. This works better than holding down the button on the remote control for 10 seconds.

    Hi Tony,
I don’t know if the protect function also works with time lapse. I would say ‘trial and error’ to test it yourself once.
By the way, I would choose to record everything in normal mode for long periods of time and later create a time-lapse with a video editing program. The advantage is that you can edit your original recording and not miss any frames. You also have the complete audio recording with it. I also don’t know if the GPS data is recorded with a time-lapse recording. With a time-lapse recording, fewer frames are recorded and you can therefore just miss the split-second recording. With a 256GB card you can record for many hours. If necessary, take an extra SD card with you to change on the go.

    Hi Mark.
I still had a print screen of an older version of the app, which is why the title could be slightly different. But Update Time could is the correct one.
If you do this, the time of the camera is synchronized with the time of your phone. That is why you can only choose accept. You do not have the option to enter a (different) time yourself.
GPS reception is not necessary. No time from the GPS signal is used.

2024-09-26 at 01:41 in reply to: Green light not always coming on

    Hi Richard,
The green LED indicates the status of the WiFi but can also mean that a recording is being made. Fast flashing has to do with the WiFi. Slow flashing has to do with recording. With recording, the red LED should also be on continuously. Unfortunately, the manual is not entirely clear on this.

It seems to me that the K6 WiFi is trying to connect to your phone but that this connection is not found. If there was a WiFi connection, the green LED should be on continuously.

Perhaps the WiFi connection is not going completely well. This can happen if you are using an iPhone. The tip is to put the iPhone in airplane mode and manually establish the WiFi connection.

In addition, a bad/wrong SD card can also cause strange problems. Can you format the SD card using the app? And does the SD card meet the specification as stated by Innovv in the manual?

  • Hi Andrew,
Have you been using the SD card for a long time? If so, it is advisable to format it once using the app. The index system is then reset. This can improve the speed of the SD card. If this does not help, can you test with another card? It can happen that an SD card starts to deteriorate, causing the write/read performance to deteriorate.
In principle, you should not miss any images between recordings.

    Hi Mark,

In the app use Time Calibration.

2024-09-23 at 16:11 in reply to: Using the Time Lapse

    Hi Tony.
I don’t have my K3 at hand, so I can’t check it physically.

The setting 300ms means that a video frame is made every 0.3 seconds. With the standard of 30FPS this is every 0.03 seconds. To make a time-lapse video you need fewer frames than with a normal recording. A video made with a lower frame rate, in this example 300ms, gives an acceleration of 10x when played back at 30 FPS.

If you really want to be sure, place a clock in front of your camera and make a time-lapse video of 10 minutes. If you play it back, it must be a video of 1 minute🙂.

    Hi Martin,
Are you able to connect your phone to another wifi point? For example at work or somewhere else. As long as you are not connected to your own wifi. Then see if it works properly. If it does, then there is something in your own wifi network that is causing the problem.
Did you have a good GPS registration during recording? If there is no GPS data embedded in the video, the app cannot display a route. You can check this by installing DashcamViewer on your computer and playing the recorded videos with this program. The free version is sufficient to test this.

    Ok,
I understand. There is no screw under the radar where you can mount the K3 mount?
Maybe you can find something on a R1250RT forum?
If you have found a solution, please let us know. Other R1250RT riders can be helped with this.

    Hi Martin,
If you want to watch the videos directly from the camera, you need a wifi connection with your camera. If the videos are downloaded, you only need an internet connection (mobile or wifi does not matter) to show the map. A wifi connection with your K7 is then not necessary. Playing downloaded videos in the app is possible without a wifi connection with the K7.

But do I understand from your 2nd comment that you can now play the videos but do not see a map?
Do you have a choice at the top right in the map to choose Google or Baidu? If so, make sure it is on Google.

Which version of the app are you using? Did you download the app with the red logo?

    Hi Kenneth,
I don’t have a R2150RT but a K1600GT (2018). I placed the Innovv camera here under the oil cooler under the headlight. Maybe this is an idea for your 2150RT. The front is not exactly the same but it can give you an idea…
For my complete installation on the K1600GT you can find the pictures under my profile.

    Hi Adrian,

In the root I mean that the firmware file is not placed in a folder on the SD card. In a FAT32 formatted SD card, the firmware file is the only file on the SD card. So no other files or folders are present.

If the blue LED does not light up, there is a problem with the power supply. Check whether the fuse is still intact.

You can also disconnect the power converter from the K3 and power the K3 with a power bank using the USB connection. The power bank must be able to supply enough power. If the K3 then works, you know that the problem is with the power supply.

So the problem was with the power module?
