    Hi Petros,
It’s possible that the GPS initially gets a fix when you’re stationary, but the signal is too weak to get a good speed reading while riding. The GPS module must have a clear view of the sky, and the text on the GPS module must be facing up. Since your GPS module is mounted under the seat, this can definitely hinder the GPS signal. Try mounting the GPS module in a different location so it has a clear view of the sky. Also, if you turn on the K7 a day later, it will need to get a new fix. After a day, the GPS satellites will be in a completely different location, and the starting position will need to be recalculated. If you start riding again after a short stop, for example, the locations of the GPS satellites won’t have changed much. You’ll then get a fix more quickly.

    Hi Robin,
I don’t expect the trailer to trigger false alerts. There’s no speed difference between the trailer and the ThirdEye. The ThirdEye needs to detect a certain speed difference to signal it.
There’s a chance that traffic behind you will be blocked by the trailer and therefore not visible to the ThirdEye.
It will then be a matter of trial and error to determine how high you need to position the ThirdEye to see over the trailer.

    Hi Kenneth,
You could also try formatting the card on a computer first. This also checks whether the card is functioning properly. If this works, try reformatting the card in the camera.
The number of GB shouldn’t affect the card’s performance. What’s more important is that the read and write speeds are sufficient, with a writing speed higher than U3.
Also check that there’s no debris in the card slot and that the card is properly inserted. The SD card must be pushed all the way into the slot so that it clicks into place. The card will no longer stick out of the slot. To remove the card, push it back in, and it will click out of the slot.
If the problem persists, contact the seller to exchange the K6 under warranty.

    Hi Ben,
Every Innovv camera with a GPS module records GPS data.
In addition to your tip, I can recommend DashcamViewer: https://dashcamviewer.com/
With this program, you can play your videos and simultaneously see your driving location, course, speed, etc. on a map. You can also export GPS data as a GPX, CS, KML, or GeoJSON file.
The free version of DashcamViewer already offers many options.

    Hi Kenneth,
    Thanks for sharing the photos.
Click on the text “Format”, and the SD card will be formatted.
It’s best to always format the card using the Innovv app.
To be sure, check whether the SD card is inserted and that it is inserted correctly.

PS, I deleted your post in the wrong forum.

2026-01-08 at 16:30 in reply to: N2 clock resets

    Hi Charles,
The N2 will likely have a backup battery in case of a power outage. This is maintained by the continuous power supply on the red wire. Since the N2 cannot be disconnected, it wouldn’t make sense for the internal battery to still need to be charged via USB.
Could there be a significant voltage drop on the red wire when you start the engine? And could this reset the N2 clock?
What happens if you disconnect the yellow wire with the engine running and then reconnect it? So, with the engine running, shut down the N2 and restart it. Is the clock still reset then?

    Hi Innovv
    My N1 does have a USB-C port.
Perhaps the USB port was removed in later versions?

    Hi Innovv,
Thanks for the info. This clarifies the USB port.
I assume the same applies to the N1?

    Hi Frank,
What kind of SD card are you using? Is the write speed U3 or higher?
Did you format the SD card using the app?
What happens if you reflash the firmware (latest version)?

    Hi Tarick,
Is this reboot happening randomly? It can’t be traced back to, for example, a dip in the power supply or a loose connector. It also doesn’t happen if the SD card is full?

    Hi Grant,
    Thanks for the workaround.
I’m having the same problem with several Samsung phone models.
With an earlier version of the app (I don’t remember exactly which version), this problem didn’t occur.

@INNOVV could you please submit this complaint to the app developer?

    Hi Charles,
I think it’s best to contact the seller of the N2 to report this and have it repaired under warranty.
