    Hi Bart,
It is possible that the GPS receiver has broken down. Unfortunately, there are few ways to test if this is the case. You can really only test with another receiver.
Another option is to re-flash the firmware in case it has become corrupted, causing the GPS signal to no longer be processed properly. A factory reset is also an alternative. However, do give the K5 time to get a GPS fix again afterwards. If the K5 hasn’t detected a GPS signal for a long time, it can also take longer to establish a GPS fix.
If this doesn’t help, you could purchase a new GPS module to see if that is the solution; this would be an investment of approximately 30 euros.

These voltages seem to be correct.
Can you check what the K3 does with a USB power bank connected? Do disconnect the power converter before connecting the USB power bank. This is to rule out whether the problem is caused by the power converter.

    Hi Nicholas,
The video files are indeed not combined. Two separate files offer more editing possibilities than a file in which both images have already been merged. One user wants them combined this way, while another user prefers a different method. That is why the front and rear files are saved separately. Also, given the differences in resolutions between the front and rear cameras, it is easier to save them separately.
You can view the (downloaded) files simultaneously with Dashcam Viewer (www.dashcamviewer.com). With this program, you can also read the GPS data and view it at the same time as the video footage.
If you want to combine the video footage yourself, look for a video editing program.

    Firmware update, see this link
    https://innovv.com/pages/k3-dashcam-support

Disconnecting the power supply will have no effect if the supply voltage is incorrect. If you have the option to measure the supply voltage with a multimeter, I am interested to see what you measure with: – ignition off, – ignition on but engine off, – ignition on and a running engine.
Also check if the power supply connections are still in good condition: good contact, no dirt or moisture.

You can try reflashing the firmware. It may have become corrupted.
It is also possible that the power supply voltage has dropped too low; check this with a multimeter. You can also power the K3 with a power bank (minimum 2Ah) and see what happens. Be sure to disconnect the power module before connecting the power bank.
When the Wi-Fi module is switched on, more power is required. If this power is not available, the K3 switches itself off. If the yellow wire still has voltage, the K3 switches back on and the on-off loop starts again.

    Hi Doron,
How did you connect the power supply?
Did you connect the power supply as stated in the manual?
What color is the LED on the power module? Does it light up continuously or blink? Is there a noticeable difference when you start the bike or not?
Did the K3 work properly before? What happens if you remove the SD card?
Do you not see the K3’s Wi-Fi network on another phone either?

    Hi Adi,
As far as I know, the N2 BMW cannot be powered outside the BMW. I cannot find anything in the manual about an external power supply.

With this setting, you can specify after how many minutes the K6’s Wi-Fi module is switched off. When Wi-Fi is turned off, the Wi-Fi connection to your phone is lost, and your phone can then connect to other networks.
If you power the K6 with a power bank, this will provide a small energy saving when Wi-Fi is off.
You can switch Wi-Fi back on by pressing the button twice in quick succession.

Check the yellow cable. It must lose power when the ignition is turned off to allow the RC6 to switch off.
It may take approximately 25 seconds for the RC6 to switch off after turning off the ignition.
It is normal for the cameras to get warm. It is only wrong if they become too hot to touch.

    Hi Bart,
I am curious if this is the solution for you.
I look forward to hearing the result.

    Hi Ash,
    Thanks for the feedback.
The advice is also to always format the SD card using the Innovv app. That way, you can be sure that the SD card is properly configured for the Innovv cameras.

Have fun with your Innovv camera.

    Hi Ash,
Have you already tried putting your iPhone in airplane mode first and then manually establishing a Wi-Fi connection? iPhones sometimes have trouble establishing and maintaining a connection with the Innovv cameras. Additionally, a virus scanner or a VPN can also cause problems.

If you can no longer change a setting, is the Wi-Fi on your RC6 still active? If the Wi-Fi timer is set to too short a time, the connection might be dropped too quickly.

    Thanks for sharing the photos.
Your K6 front camera is now also well protected against the rain.
Are you not bothered by reflections from the screen?

I have asked Innovv if they can enable the choice of .mp4 as well as .ts video recording on all camera systems.
The more users ask for this, the greater the chance that Innovv will want to include this in their software developments.

    Hi Mark,
    Thanks for the feedback.
I installed McAfee on my Samsung; I will check if removing it has any effect on me as well.
