Hi Andrey,
See my answers in the other topic where you also asked these questions. -
Hi Barry,
This is almost standard (on Android). The K7 actually acts as a sort of hotspot. However, it doesn’t provide a connection to the internet, but to your K7. So your phone detects an active Wi-Fi connection but has no connection to the internet. Your phone always wants to connect to the internet, but it fails to do so, hence the message ‘connected with no internet’.
It is the same as when you connect your laptop to your home network but the cable from the router to the outside (read: internet) is disconnected. -
Hi Ralph,
I am currently experiencing the same problem with my Samsung A56.
I have already reported the issue to Innovv.
I do still have an old version (2023) of the app lying around; I want to reinstall it on my phone soon to see if this works. If you are interested in this older version, please let me know via PM. -

Did it work properly before? If so, has anything unusual happened to the K7, your motorcycle, in the meantime? Did you have low battery voltage or other power supply problems?
Are normal video recordings still being made?
‘No recording on demand with the remote….‘ by this do you mean making a protected video? Because for normal recordings no action is needed; the K7 automatically starts recording when the K7 boots up.
You could perform a master reset by re-flashing the (latest) firmware. -

Hi Murray,
That indeed looks like the ghosting of the Nav VI.
With my Nav VI, ghosting was caused by grease stains on the touchscreen. After cleaning it thoroughly, the problem was gone.
Does the touchscreen still look intact? No bumps, dents, pits, or scratches?
Is there no dirt between the edge of the screen and the housing either?
Are the contacts between the N2 and the BMW cradle also clean (grease-free?) Cleaning agents can sometimes leave a residue, which can cause poor contact. Even rubbing alcohol sometimes leaves some residue behind.
It is possible that after driving for 30 minutes, the contacts vibrated ‘clean’, causing the ghosting to stop.
If the problem persists and everything looks intact, clean, and normal, you can always contact the seller to have the N2 replaced under warranty. -
Hi John,
Did you use an external power supply that can deliver enough power, at least 2A?
Is there a rubber ring on the cover near the SD card slot? If not, moisture may have gotten into the K6.
You can charge a phone using the USB-C connection on the K6 power supply; if so, the power supply is fine.
Try starting the K6 without the rear camera connected. And starting it without the SD card, does that work? -
Hi Kevin,
Have you given the app all the permissions it needs? Including viewing media (photos and videos)? -
Hi Kevin,
Does your K7 only make one large recording now? Or are multiple recordings being made?
Which settings have you configured under Record Settings – Loop Recording Duration? Perhaps you could provide screenshots of your settings?
How do you read the recordings? With the Innov app? If so, what steps do you take?
Does the SD card meet the specifications set by Innovv, meaning a write speed higher than U1?
During recording, how do the LEDs on the remote control light up? Are they off, on, or blinking (how fast do they blink)?
How have you connected the power supply?
When you read the SD card on a computer, which folders have been created and in which folders are there recordings?
To be sure, you could also reinstall the (latest) firmware. How did you contact Innovv? Via email or via the contact form on their official website?

Hi Kev,
By ‘Just downloading from app toy android phone’, do you mean the Innovv app or another app?
What exact steps do you take to view the files?
During recording, what does the LED indicate? Which color(s) are flashing or not?
You can see in the app that recordings have been made; under Card Capacity, can you see that disk space is being used?
Did you format the SD card using the Innovv?
Does the SD card meet the specifications as stated by Innovv, with a write speed higher than U3?
Do you have the possibility to test with another phone?
The more info you provide, the better we can help you. -
Hi Andrey,
Does the cable move or vibrate a lot when you ride your motorcycle? Is the cable not tensioned too tightly?
Excessive movement or tensioning can cause a cable break. Pulling too hard on the cable to remove the SD card cover can also eventually cause a break. -
Hi Andrey,
How is the Loop Recording setting configured? If you haven’t selected a loop time here, old recordings won’t be overwritten; if the card is full, recording will stop. -
Hi Murray,
I removed the screen protector from my Nav VI myself. It was of no value to me and only caused problems. The touchscreen works even better without a screen protector. I think it is also a matter of keeping your screen clean to prevent problems.A screen protector isn’t the most expensive purchase, so it is worth trying it without one as well.

Hi Kev,
I am wondering if the SD card was the problem, I’d like to hear about it.
