    Hi Kev.

What app are you using watch the video? Is this on your phone or computer?

Can you see video live from the k6 using the Innovv app?

Hi Dean, have you connected the red and black wires to a permanent feed, and the yellow to switch live?

Sorry, not on a Z1000 so can’t really help with camera placement…

What spec is the sd card? What format are you recording in on front camera?

Also, how are you connecting the sd card to you computer?

You could use a Fuzeblock FZ-1. It wires to battery and can give constant or switched power. You can feed 6 different accessories.

I use it for K6 (constant power), Satnav (switched power), usb socket (switched power), and heated gloves (switched power).

    Hi David

Yes, just connect as per instructions.

Red and Black to battery or other permanent power supply. Yellow to switched power source.

Camera should start recording a few seconds after ignition is switched on, and stop a few seconds after ignition is switched off.

    Hello Bert.

How have you wired in your k6? (USB or supplied power converter?)

At start up the k6 should start recording (red light) and enable WiFi (green light). Check the instructions to see what the light sequences signify.

You can change the length of recording loop in the app, but 5 mins is longest. This makes the files easier to play and download.

    Hi Dan.

Yes, red and black to battery (or other permanent power), yellow to a switched live.

It will draw a small amount of power when bike is switched off, but this is minimal.

If you don’t use an optimiser when bike is not used for longer periods, you could disconnect the battery.

    Hi David.

K6 should be capable of recording 2k on front camera, but if you are happy with 1080 then that’s great.

It will also allow more recordings before the sd card is full 👍

Did you format the sd card in the camera?

    That seems about right.

And the picture interference is at the same point every time you play it back?

Just trying to confirm if it’s a playback issue or recording issue…🤔

You will probably find downloading videos a bit slow over WiFi, and better to remove card and copy files on PC.

Therefore, you only use the WiFi for changing settings on K6.

3 mins is probably long enough to do this.

    Hi Dave.

The K6 will work fine without connecting to your phone (switching on and off with ignition), but obviously the app won’t work if not connected.

    K6 doesn’t have Bluetooth .
