Hi T.W.
Okay, so you won’t read this answer, but maybe other Innovv users will find it useful.
If you don’t provide more information about what you’ve already tried, with what brand/model phone, how the power supply is connected, etc. etc., then don’t expect an immediate response.
This forum is also mostly run by volunteers, and they aren’t always online. Well, if you’re frustrated after waiting for three hours…
Besides, if there’s a time difference between your location and China, you shouldn’t expect an answer within 15 minutes. After all, Innovv doesn’t have a 24-hour service. -
Hi Jeff,
Does the Wi-Fi LED stay on then?
What if you set a different timeout?
You could try reloading the firmware.-
Hi Jeff,
It’s best to format the SD card in the K7. I think the firmware update should work with a 64 GB drive. But it’s a matter of trial and error.

Hi Antonio.
The G-force values at the bottom of the screen have no function. Nice to have, but useless.
These values have nothing to do with Parking Mode. The sensitivity of Parking Modes is also not adjustable.
The G-force sensitivity that you can set only affects the sensitivity for accident videos. -
Hi Jean.
If the Loop Recording Duration is set to 5 minutes, a new video recording will start every 5 minutes. These recordings are stored on the SD card in chronological order. When the SD card is full, the oldest recording will be overwritten by the newest recording.
Automatic overwriting of the last 5 minutes is not possible. In that case, you will only be able to find one recording on your SD card, namely the last 5 minutes. I assume that during a motorcycle ride, you’re not only interested in the last 5 minutes of your ride😉 -
Hi Tommy,
Aha, I get it now😀
I don’t have any experience with Chromebooks, but I’d say give it a try.
I’m curious to see if it works for you. If it does, please let us know. -
Hi Tommy,
Do you want to use the Innovv app as an intermediate step?
Or do you want to download directly from the camera to your Chromebook?
Normally, you view the videos directly from the camera with the Innovv app, or you download them to your phone first and then view them with the Innovv app.
Isn’t there an option to read an SD card with a Chromebook?
Directly reading the video files with a Chromebook is sometimes possible using a web browser. This used to be possible with the K2, but I can’t give a definitive answer as to whether it’s still possible with all K-series cameras. -
Hi Ken,
The K7 can get (fairly) warm to the touch, but not hot.
Is the DVR fully integrated, or can airflow be circulated around it for cooling? The DVR’s casing also functions as a heat sink, so the generated heat needs to be able to dissipate properly. -
Hi Rick,
If you’re handy with tools and a soldering iron, you can replace the aluminum connector with the plastic one from the K2. Alternatively, you can remove the connectors on both sides and connect the power cables directly to each other without connectors.
The pin layout can be checked with a multimeter. -

Hi Rick,
A flashing blue LED on the power module indicates that the supply voltage is too low. This can also cause the Wi-Fi to not start properly. When Wi-Fi becomes active, it requires more power, which (probably) cannot be supplied.
You can check if the K2 still starts properly by connecting a USB power bank (with ample power) to the USB port. Be sure to disconnect the power module first. If the K2 then starts up, you know the problem is most likely due to the supply voltage or the power module.
On the other hand, given its age, the K2 is more than depreciated, and the choice of a new Innovv camera is therefore the obvious choice. -
Hi Guillermo Antonio,
I suspect there’s something wrong with the power supply.
Because when the bike is started, the voltage should be higher than when the bike hasn’t started yet, especially when you’re revving up.
With a running bike = sufficient supply voltage >12.5V, the LED should be solid blue and not flashing as you describe.
Try using a multimeter to measure what happens to the power supply voltage when the ignition is off, the ignition is on, the bike is started, and the engine revs up. I suspect you’ll notice significant voltage differences. -
Hi Guillermo Antonio,
How did you connect the yellow wire? Was it connected to a switched-mode power supply? Is this switched-mode power supply still working properly?
Is the power supply voltage (red and black wires) still good? Are all connectors still properly connected and dry inside?
What does the blue LED on the power module indicate when the ignition is off, the ignition is on, and the engine is started?
Can you perform a firmware reset by reloading the firmware?
Is the video recording still working properly? -
Hi Tomáš,
I suspect a bug has gotten into the firmware. Could you try a different Loop Recording Duration?
You could try a reset from the app. And if you really want to perform a hard reset, reinstall the firmware.
