Hi Stephen,
Are you reading the card using the Innovv app, or with a computer?
Always format the SD card using the Innovv app in the camera. Formatting using a computer does not always work properly. An SD card formatted with a computer is not always recognized properly by an Innovv camera.
Check whether the yellow wire is receiving a good control voltage. I have read too often on the forum that Thunder Box, Hex EZcan and similar accessory connection boxes cause problems. For example, connect the yellow wire to your license plate lighting.
Also check all connectors, wiring and power supply. Because it is strange that it records when stationary and not when moving. -
Hi Malcom,
It could be that you do not have the correct codec for .MP4 H.265.
VLC also needs the correct codecs.
When you look at live view in the app, do you see the image of the cameras?
Did you format the SD card in the K6 using the Innovv app? It is recommended to format it with the Innovv app every time after you have read the SD card in the computer. Otherwise there is a chance that K6 will no longer see the SD card properly.
Does the SD card meet the specifications as stated in the manual, U3 or higher? -
Hi Stephen,
Can you give more info about:- Type of SD card, which class etc?
- Have you formatted the SD cards using the Innovv app?
- What indications do the LEDs on the remote control give?
- Have you connected the yellow switch wire correctly?
- Have you also checked whether there are recordings in accident/protected recordings?
- And more….?
In short, the more info you can give, the better we can hopefully help you. At the moment, the information you have given is quite brief.

Hi Gijs,
U1 is sufficient, U3 is better (is faster). But besides the U-number, the video speed class mark is also important.
Have you already formatted the SD card using the Innovv app? It is recommended to format the SD card with the app and not with a computer.
In the app, do you see that the cameras are working properly?
If the firmware update went well, you can see in the app under settings which firmware the K3 has. This is under System. To be sure, you could perform the firmware update again if you have any doubts. -
Hi Helge,
Unfortunately, the Third Eye can only be switched on or off. No further settings are possible.
The Third Eye is also intended to warn you if traffic coming from behind you is approaching you too quickly. You will also experience this if you are standing still at a traffic light and a vehicle approaches you from behind at a certain speed. This is also a collision warning. The Third Eye therefore functions as it should.
Incidentally, there is a difference in how the Third Eye gives a warning. If one of the LEDs is constantly on, it is a blind spot warning. If both LEDs are flashing, a vehicle is approaching you quickly from behind.
Also see my video on https://youtu.be/V8LwaErcInA
In this video, the LEDs are placed at the oil reservoirs of the clutch and front brake
The position where you have placed the Third Eye is correct.
I mounted my Third Eye on a K1600 GT, see the link for pictures of this installation.

The K7 always needs a constant power supply on the red and black wire. The yellow wire needs a switched power supply to switch the K7 on and off. If you let the red and black wire switch, this will certainly cause problems. So connect the red and black wire to the battery, or at least a constant power supply (even when the ignition is off) and let the yellow wire switch (could be via the relay)

It’s all correct.
When you connect the K6 using WiFi with your phone, your phone sees this connection as the access route to the internet. But the K6 is not a connection to the internet, it is only a ‘hotspot/wifi’ connection to your K6. This may be the reason why your phone is reporting that there is no internet connection. After all, your phone (Android) is constantly looking for a connection to the internet.

Hi Jan Ivar,
I am not an iPhone/iMac user myself. But are there no possibilities using iCloud?
You do not have the possibility to insert the SD card directly into your iMac and then move the video files to your iMac? -
Hi Bjørn,
If you change another setting with the app, is it then implemented? This is to check whether the app communicates well with the K7.
The phone is leading when it comes to time calibration. As far as I know, nothing is done with the time from the GPS data.
Have you tried reinstalling the latest firmware? -
Hi Martin,
How you want to use the K7 is actually as an action camera. So only recording when you want to. The Innovv cameras are developed as dashcams. So continuous recording without you having to do anything yourself. And without you needing a connected phone.
If you want to make a specific recording using the app, you must always have your phone and the app actively at hand. Incidentally, the recordings are then still stored in the camera and not on the phone.
The fact that it is now possible with the app is more of a nice-to-have function. An alternative method could be that you use the button on the remote control. If you press the button briefly, the current recording is saved in the protected files folder. Okay, the disadvantage is that you have to press the button for each recording.
But using the protected video you can more quickly find out what the starting point was of the recordings that you want to save. -
Hi Stephen,
I think this question is the same as the one you asked in another topic. For my answer see the other topic. This is to prevent the same discussion from going on in multiple topics. -
That the camera only turns off after some time when the contact is turned off is correct. The camera has to end the ongoing recording properly. And this takes some time.

Dielectric grease is also ultimately an additional disruption of the electrical signal.
The connectors are moisture/waterproof, there is a rubber ring in the connector for this. Additional dielectric grease is therefore not necessary. -
Try flashing the firmware again.
You can find the latest version on the Innovv website. -
Hi Peter,
As advice, always format the SD card in the camera using the Innovv app.
I have the experience that if you put the SD card in the computer to read it and then put it back in the camera without reformatting it, this can sometimes cause read/write problems.
If you change another setting, does the K6 remember this?
You can possibly reflash the firmware or perform a reset to see if this helps.
