    Hi Andrei,
Try to connect the K7 directly to your battery.
You can also disconnect component by component (remote control, front camera etc…) to see if one of these components is defective and blocks the K7 from starting.
To find the cause of the fault you will have to try a few things.

    Hi Andrei,
It seems that only the remote is not working. After all, it is still recording if I understand correctly.
Have you checked the connector of the remote control to see if it is properly connected and if it is also dry on the inside?
What if you get the power supply directly from the battery, so not via the RDC unit?

    Hi Rico,
When you play a video in DV and you click on CRTL+4 (map screen) does a screen with a map not appear? It could be that the screen with the map is outside the layout of your screen. Then try CTRL+8 (cleanup).
To check whether a video contains GPS data, you can click on the downward pointing arrow with ‘DATA’ at the top left during playback. A popup ‘Data Browser’ will then open. From the available tables you should be able to deduce whether GPS data is present.

    Hi Nigel,
Do you have a VPN connection turned on? If so, turn it off.

    Hi John,
Your battery will not run out. The K7 requires a minimum current when idle.
If the voltage drops below 12.5V, the parking mode will be disabled to prevent your battery from being drained even more.
The yellow wire automatically switches the K7 on and off. So you cannot forget to switch the K7 on and off. The yellow wire is a control wire, the voltage that the K7 needs to work comes via the red and black wire. So you have to connect all three wires.
You can switch off parking mode in the app. Given the minimal power consumption, I will leave it on.
If you switch it off, you will see that you need a parking mode recording at some point, and then you do not have it.

    Hi Frederic,
The maximum size of the SD card or the K6 is 256GB. If you look at how big your recordings are, you can calculate how many (minutes) recordings you can make on one SD card. Depending on how many days you want to record, you can determine how many SD cards you need. Changing SD cards is the least complicated method in my opinion.
I don’t think My Passport Wireless Pro will work with an Innovv camera.
It is advisable to format all SD cards in the camera in advance using the Innovv app.

    Hi John,
I assume that you have formatted the SD card using the Innovv app.
I have personally experienced that when you read the SD card in a computer, the Innovv camera no longer knows how to handle the SD card properly. The camera sometimes sees the SD card as full or can sometimes no longer read the stored recordings on the SD card. Only after reformatting with the app does the SD card function properly again. But then all existing recordings on the SD card are deleted by the formatting.
do not know whether you have read the SD card in your computer between the different recordings.
You could therefore perform a (long) test by formatting the SD card using the Innovv app, and then not removing it from the camera until you are certain that recordings have been overwritten. This can be checked with the Innovv app. With the Innovv app you can easily check whether recordings have already been overwritten.

    Hi Jerry,
The K3 can get a little warm. But if it gets very warm, this is not normal.
I suspect that there is a problem in the DVR. To be sure, I would disconnect the DVR from the power supply and contact the seller of the K3. Perhaps something can be claimed under warranty.

    Hi Jerry,
Are all the connectors properly connected and are they also dry on the inside? Is the DVR box also dry?
A solid red light means that your battery voltage is too low for the parking mode function. When you turn on the ignition, do you get voltage on the yellow wire? If you connect a power bank, have you disconnected the DC converter?
If you read the SD card, can you see that recordings are being made? Do you see the K3’s wifi network on your phone when you turn on the ignition?
You can disconnect all components (remote control, GPS receiver, camera, etc.) one by one to see if the K3 works again. This way you can rule out whether one of the components has become defective and therefore does not allow the K3 to start up.

    Hi James,
I suspect you have not installed the correct app.
You probably have the Innovv app with the red logo installed.
For the H5 you need to use a different Innovv app, this app has a black logo with a picture of a helmet.
Search for Innovv H5 in Google Play.

    Hi Rico,

If you want to see on a map (Google Maps) where you have driven, I can recommend Dashcam Viewer. With the free version you already have many options.

    Take a look at https://dashcamviewer.com/

    Hi Mike,
Are all the shots white? Can you post an example?
Is the entire image white, or just a part? Is it also when shooting in a dark environment?
For example, is it not the case that your license plate light is shining in the rear camera?
Have you tried anything yourself to improve the image, if so, what?

    Hi Frederic,
You don’t need the app to make recordings.
There can be several reasons why the recording stops spontaneously:

    • card defective
    • power problem of the K6
    • connectors not tightened properly
    • moisture in the connectors
    • SD card not formatted properly. Format it using the Innovv app.
    • an SD card that is not fast enough, at least U3.
    • etc.

    Hi Stephen,
From which folder are you trying to watch the videos? From Camera Files or from Local Files?
To play from the Camera Files folder, there must be a wifi connection with your K7.
What message/what exactly do you see when you want to play a video? Is it possible to add a screenshot?
It could be that your phone does not have a driver for .MP4 files.
If you download the VLC (VideoLanClient) app, can you watch the downloaded files with this app?
