    Hi Gert,
I would like to know if another SD card was the final solution. I would guess the SD card instead of the battery.

    Hello Gert,
The SD card is a fast type, U3?
If you set a lower resolution/bitrate, do you also miss seconds of video?
The videos that are shorter than the set 1 minute, do they occur randomly or do they occur on a traceable event? For example a bump in the road, a voltage drop due to the use of an electrical accessory, or due to…?

    Hi Gert,

Can you see from the videos what happens just before the moment the video stops? Did you also format the SD card using the Innovv app? How is the power supply of the K7? And are all connectors connected properly?
The recordings from the front and rear cameras do not connect to each other. Do you mean that a front recording does not connect to a rear recording in time? This could be correct. There are actually two time loops recorded. One for the front camera, so recordings from the front camera that connect to each other in time. And one for the rear camera. Just look at the naming of the video files.

    Hi Adam,
Is it possible that you are not pressing the button far enough with the first or second click and that you are essentially pressing the button once?
Does the button bounce back properly after pressing? If it gets stuck a bit, the 2nd click may not be registered. Could it also be that the button is not being pressed properly due to your motorcycle glove?
The ‘click’ speed that works well for me is the same speed at which I double-click with a computer mouse.
An added option to the app could indeed be that you can choose what you want to do with one click and with a double click, photo or protected video. Perhaps also the option to set the double-click speed yourself?

@INNOVV, is this perhaps something to include in an update of the app?

    Hi Pete,
You don’t need to pair your phone to record videos.
A connection to your phone is only needed for:

    • Mounting your H5 on the helmet, you can then see live whether you have placed the H5 at the correct angle.
    • Setting up the H5.
    • Downloading videos.

So you don’t always need to have your phone with you.

    Hi Antonis,
You can swap the front and rear camera without any problems. The cameras are identical.
If the cable is still too short, you can use an extension cable.

    Hi Pete,
Here is a video in which you can barely see the helmet.
The fact that the helmet occasionally appears in the picture is due to the working of the image stabilization. Without image stabilization the video image is a bit larger, but then the image also shakes more. This recording was also made with the external H5 microphone that I built into the helmet.

    Hi Morton,
Can you check the connectors to see if they are dry? Since you have problems with rain.
Also check if there is a rubber sealing ring in the connectors, I think it is orange. Moisture in connectors can cause strange problems.
Behind the metal plate that is in front of the SD card there should also be a rubber sealing edge. If not, there is a chance that moisture can get into the main unit.

    Hi Pete,
You do get to see the helmet partially in the picture.
I’ll see if I can post an other H5 video where the helmet is barely visible one of these days.
You can already watch an H5 video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8LwaErcInA
Please note that for this video I had the camera pointed downwards to get a good shot of the dashboard. You can also see how the EIS function (image stabilization) works in this video.
This recording was made with the external H5 microphone that I mounted in the helmet.

    Hi Pete,
The adhesive foot of the H5 is slightly curved. This makes this foot suitable for almost all helmets. You can therefore assume that it fits well on a Shoei Neotec 11 flip up helmet.
I have a Schuberth C4 Pro myself and the foot fits well on it without any problems.

    Hi Paul,
You can click away the message ‘connected without internet’ without any problems. If you then look at your wifi connections you will see that you have a wifi connection with your H5.
Are you using the right app? Innovv has its own app for the H5. This app is also called ‘Innovv H5’ and has a black logo. The Innovv app with the red logo is for the other Innovv cameras.
If you still can’t get a connection, let us know where the problem is, possibly post print screens and explain what you have already tried.

    Hi Paul,
When you connect the H5 using Wifi with your phone, your phone sees this connection as the access route to the internet. But the H5 is not a connection to the internet, it is only a ‘hotspot/wifi’ connection to your H5. This may be the reason why your phone is reporting that there is no internet connection. After all, your phone (Android) is constantly looking for a connection to the internet.
Connection to the internet is only necessary if you want to play downloaded videos in the app and you want to see your track playing ‘live’ on a map (e.g. Google Maps).
The Innovv instruction is only applicable to iPhones. This is because iPhones sometimes have trouble making a wifi connection to the Innovv cameras.

    Hi Mark,
By saving you probably mean downloading to your phone.
During downloading there is no recording in my experience.
I suspect that you want to download while driving because downloading takes (too) much time and the ignition of the bike has to remain on all that time.
The fastest way to get a lot of files is to put the SD card in your computer and then copy everything to your computer. Downloading to your phone unfortunately remains a long-term activity.
