Therefore, connecting the laptop directly to the K6 via Wi-Fi will not result in any speed improvement. The K6’s Wi-Fi is the limiting factor.</span></p>
<p>The fastest way is to insert the SD card into your computer and download the video files that way.</p>

<p>I own a BMW K1600GT myself. <span>I took the switched power supply from the top case connector. I suspect this isn&#8217;t present on the RS1250. However, the license plate light power supply is also a good option.</span></p>
<p>The yellow wire draws no power, so this has no influence on the CANbus operation. Switching off can indeed take about 30 seconds on&hellip;</p>

<p>If I tested it correctly with my N3, you need both the Wi-Fi connection and the belltooth connection to use CarPlay/Android Car.<br /><span>But it is possible that I was mistaken about that; I only recently started testing the N3 and still need to mount it on my motorcycle, so it has only been a workbench setup up until now.</span></p>

<p>It is possible that the Wi-Fi LED has become defective. This does not affect the operation of the K7. You can potentially claim a new remote control under warranty if the K7 is still within the warranty period. But if the defective LED doesn&#8217;t bother you, just leave it as it is.</p>

<p>You can perform a master reset by re-flashing the K6&#8217;s firmware. If a bug has crept into the firmware, it will be fixed. All settings will then also be reset to factory defaults. With the default factory settings, the K6 should create normal .MP4 files&hellip;</p>

<p>It is normal for the N2 to give you the choice of whether to use CarPlay or Android Auto. When this choice appears, the N2 does not know which type of phone to connect to, an iPhone or an Android. You therefore have to tell the N2 this, and you do so with this choice.</p>

<p>It can take longer for the GPS to get a GPS fix for the first time after an update. Ensure the GPS has a clear line of sight to the satellites and give it some more time while you are not riding the motorcycle.</p>

<p>Downloading the video files via Wi-Fi is indeed not fast. Therefore, connecting the laptop directly to the K6 via Wi-Fi will not result in any speed improvement. The K6&#8217;s Wi-Fi is the limiting factor.</p>
<p>The fastest way is to insert the SD card into your computer and download the video files that way.</p>
