The app is used when you are stopped to access the files on the SD card. Format the card using the app, not your PC. You can move the SD card to your desktop to copy off the files you wish to keep.

Normally, your phone expects every WiFi connection to have access to the Internet. Most WiFi access points can reach the internet.

The K7 is using a WiFi access point only to send imagery to your phone. There is no need for the internet of course.

In other words, ignore the “no internet” message.

The K7 uses WiFi to connect, not Bluetooth.

For some reason the K7 refuses to be recognized as WiFi connected. It shows connected in settings-WiFi but the app keeps telling me to mak3 sure it’s connected.

I’ve tried restarting hardware, restarting the app and even reinstalling the app.

I’ve tried with bike power on, and also in accessory mode.

Ontario, last weekend, that is me on a friend’s Moto Guzzi RT1200 as I followed MY Goldwing on a ride to Creemore as captured by the K7.

I had to reduce it below 2MB if course.

There is a ten second delay to start the K7, so the battery can be used to start the bike. Maybe that is getting confused?

But, while it is spinning just slide wifi to OFF and back on again and it connects instantly

My understanding is the yellow AcC wire is the primary source of power. It turns the system on and off. While it is off it uses power from the battery through the other lead to provide power for the radar function until the voltage drops to 12.5.

So, you have to connect the yellow at a minimum. The other is optional, but I’m guessing.

Thanks, Hans. I have not used a switch yet and that is what confused me. The Can Buss isolator provides a constant voltage. I’m told it is best to use the isolated source, but I’ll go direct if necessary.

I d I don’t have the K7 wired to a can bus isolator yet, it is just wired direct to the battery. I find I have to have both the main power and the accessory power connected to power or the K7 does not start up. I can’t figure out why.
