<p>No app is required for the copy. Just use your PC to copy the firmware. Put the resultant SD card rd in the K7 and power it up.</p>
<p>The K7 knows to go into firmware update mode when it finds the file at power up.if there is no firmware file it just&hellip;</p>

<p>The app is used when you are stopped to access the files on the SD card. Format the card using the app, not your PC. You can move the SD card to your desktop to copy off the files you wish to keep.</p>

<p>If there was a short in the wires to the buttons maybe it thinks the button is depressed constantly. Look for signs of distress on that cable. It may have been pulled past a sharp obstruction.</p>

<p>The K7 is using a WiFi access point only to send imagery to your phone. There is no need for the internet of course.</p>

<p>Ontario, last weekend, that is me on a friend&#8217;s Moto Guzzi RT1200 as I followed MY Goldwing on a ride to Creemore as captured by the K7.</p>
<p>I had to reduce it below 2MB if course.</p>
<p>I will ask Hans of the photo limit should be raised a bit for obvious reasons. We want them to look the best!</p></p>

<p>There is a ten second delay to start the K7, so the battery can be used to start the bike. Maybe that is getting confused? </p>
<p>I assume you checked all your electrical connections?</p>
<p>Are you using a Canbus isolator?</p>
<p>I will exercise my K7 to see if I can replicate the problem.</p>

It turns the system on and off. While it is off it uses power from the battery through the other lead to provide power for the radar function until the voltage drops to 12.5.</p>

<p>So, you have to connect the yellow at a minimum. The other is optional, but I’m guessing.</p>

<p>When voltage drops to 12.5V it shuts right down.</p>
<p>I have let my bike sit a few days with no issues on startup.</p>

I find I have to have both the main power and the accessory power connected to power or the K7 does not start up. I can’t figure out why.</p>
